Salem Haile
Salem, 2BL’s Resident Experience Manager at Ninth Street, is a Bay Area native, born and raised in San Jose, CA, with roots in Eritrea, a country in the Horn of Africa. After the pandemic, she began working in San Francisco, which led her to discover her passion for property management. Salem’s drive comes from her love for writing, expression, and cultivating a strong sense of community.
Outside of work, you can often find Salem writing poetry or performing it at local establishments that welcome her creative energy. She has a passion for linguistics and etymology, enjoys sunbathing, spending time with her dog Legend, and believes in the beauty of everyone and lives by her personal motto: “Everyone’s Beautiful.”
Fun Fact: Salem enjoys participating in traditional Eritrean coffee ceremonies, which can last for hours and are a beautiful way to slow down, connect with loved ones, and just enjoy the moment.
